Project Overview
The overall project supporting this work will create an international network of usable augmented environments, or "SpaceDesign", for collaborative, project-driven learning and working. The collaborating partners will design, implement, and evaluate the necessary physical components, hardware, software, and user experiences to allow subsequent studies where multiple groups use these iSpaces over sustained periods of time. Thus, the major goal of the iSpace project is to create the rooms and technical infrastructure, ready for replication at other Wallenberg Global Learning Network (WGLN) sites, that other WGLN projects will need to develop and test their new learning approaches. By the end of Year 1, major parts of this technology will have been designed and mostly implemented; remaining implementation and evaluation will mainly take place in Year 2.
