    The Reliability Analysis Center is an Information Analysis Center sponsored by DTIC, the Defense Technical Information Center. RAC's charter is to collect, analyze, and disseminate data and information to improve the reliability and maintainability of components and systems. RAC has been operated by IIT Research Institute since its inception in 1968

Through an ARPA US government contract, ADI is allowing users from the general engineering public to be able to access ADI's integrated sensor technology. The server contains most of the info needed to get started designing in iMEMS (integrated MicroElectroMechanical Systems). A mirror server at MIT is also available.

    CODEF addresses problems related to prediction and modeling of burr formation and edge breakout phenomena, development of a database for best burr avoidance and removal techniques from industry, development of a burr advisor for a CAD system, process feedback and control for advanced deburring techniques.

    The CSC has been conducting research on the development of semi-active and active control systems for structures and automotive applications for over five years. That research has resulted in the development of a new technique for the control of structural vibrations, called "SAVA." The SAVA system utilizes sensors, micro controllers and a specifically designed hydraulic piston to assure reduced vibration and deflection when trucks pass over a bridge.
